By booking and staying in any apartment managed by Hendrison Stays, a platform under Hendrison Realty & Associates Limited, you agree to comply with and accept the following Terms and Conditions.
Check-In / Check-Out
• Check-in: From 2:00 PM
• Check-out: By 11:00 AM
Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon prior request and approval and may attract an additional fee.
Payment
Full pre-payment of the total booking amount is required to confirm all reservations.
No Smoking Policy
Hendrison Stays maintains a strict no-smoking policy inside all apartments. Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas and never inside the apartment.
Any guest found smoking inside the apartment will be charged a ₦50,000 cleaning fee to restore the apartment to its original condition.
Prohibited Substances
The possession, use, storage, distribution, or sale of illegal drugs or controlled substances without a valid prescription is strictly prohibited on all Hendrison Stays premises.
This policy applies to all guests and visitors. Violations may result in:
• Immediate termination of the stay without refund
• Forfeiture of the security deposit
• Referral to law enforcement authorities where applicable
No Parties or Gatherings
Hendrison Stays operates a strict no-party and no-gathering policy.
Guests who violate this policy will be required to vacate the apartment immediately without refund and may also be subject to additional penalties.
No Pets
Pets are not permitted in any Hendrison Stays apartment.
Guests who bring pets without prior approval may be required to vacate the apartment immediately without refund and may also be subject to additional charges.
Apartment Occupancy
Each apartment has a maximum occupancy limit.
Guests may receive visitors; however, overnight stays for unregistered guests are not permitted. Any violation of this policy may result in a penalty of up to the apartment’s nightly rate for each night the policy is breached.
Wi-Fi Access
Complimentary Wi-Fi is provided in all apartments. Access codes may change without prior notice.
Please note that internet connectivity in Nigeria may occasionally experience interruptions due to service provider downtime. Hendrison Stays assumes no liability for internet service disruptions or guest use of the network.
Quiet Hours
Our apartments are located in residential environments. To maintain a peaceful atmosphere for other guests and neighbors, quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM.
Televisions, speakers, and conversations should be kept at a respectful volume at all times.
Parking
Some apartments provide complimentary on-site parking within the compound. However, parking spaces may be limited.
Guests may occasionally be required to move their vehicles to allow access for other residents or guests. Hendrison Stays assumes no responsibility for vehicles parked on the premises. All vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk.
Damages
Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the apartment or its contents during their stay, excluding normal wear and tear.
This includes damages resulting from negligence, misuse, or irresponsible behavior by the guest or their visitors.
Refundable Security Deposit
A refundable security deposit may be required and can be up to the equivalent of one night’s stay (or higher depending on the length of the booking).
The deposit is typically refunded within 24 hours after checkout, provided that:
1. No damage has occurred to the apartment or building
2. No items or property are missing or damaged
3. No disturbance has been caused to neighbors or residents
4. No pets were brought into the apartment
5. No smoking occurred inside the apartment
6. Maximum occupancy limits were not exceeded
7. Checkout was completed at the agreed time
If the cost of repairs or replacements exceeds the security deposit amount, Hendrison Stays reserves the right to recover the additional costs from the guest.
Forgotten Items
Guests are advised to thoroughly check the apartment before departure to ensure that no personal belongings are left behind.
If an item is discovered after checkout, Hendrison Stays will make reasonable efforts to contact the guest within 24 hours. It is the guest’s responsibility to arrange retrieval of the item.
Items left unclaimed for 30 days after departure may be donated or disposed of at the discretion of Hendrison Stays.
Security Cameras
For safety and security purposes, surveillance cameras are installed in the compound and outside the apartments only.
Video monitoring is conducted to protect guests, staff, and property, and to maintain service standards.
Cancellations & Reservation Changes
Payments made for confirmed bookings are non-refundable.
Guests may request one complimentary change of reservation dates provided the request is made at least 14 days before the scheduled check-in date.
Additional change requests may incur a fee of up to 50% of the booking value.
Energy Conservation
Guests are kindly requested to support energy conservation by:
• Turning off water heaters after use
• Switching off air conditioners, lights, and electrical appliances when leaving the apartment
General Policy
The above policies represent general guidelines governing all Hendrison Stays properties. This list is not exhaustive.
